• Representation Revised - National Symbols Programme •
For this brief we were tasked with redesigning South Africa's 7 national symbols, then applying these designs to certain applications such as posters and shirts. The students who will be using our resources are grade sixes of the Western Cape. When choosing the style I wanted, I decided I would go with a very playful and colorful style in order for the presentation to be enriching and aesthetically pleasing.
The wax pastel process was difficult in the beginning as id never used the medium before, but once I began it flowed easily. After numerous attempts at different mediums, id finally found the one I wanted to use.
